Alfred State College junior Sean Malenfant has been named the AMCC Wrestler of the Year for the second consecutive Year. Malenfant started the season out strong by taking home the 184 title at the Washington and Jefferson Invite while setting a new Pioneers career pins record. He then claimed the 184-bracket title at the New Standard Invite before going 3-0 against strong competition at the NWCA National Duals to open up 2024. Malenfant went undefeated at the AMCC Quad Meet to help lead his team to back-to-back AMCC regular season titles then had another strong 3-0 outing at the Johna Summa Invitational in February. Malenfant wrapped up his season by being named the AMCC Championship's Most Outstanding Wrestler on his way to becoming the 184 champion.

Alfred State freshman Brent Perry has earned Newcomer of the Year honors. Perry was the 174 lb AMCC Champion, becoming a first team all-conference honoree. Perry helped contibute to the Pioneers second straight AMCC team title, as well. During the regular season, he was the Adrian Invitational Champion and a New Standard Corp Invitational place winner. He compiled an 18-11 record with seven pins spanning three different weight classes. Perry went undefeated (6-0) against AMCC competition throughout the course of the season.

Coach of the Year honors goes to Penn State Behrend head coach Caleb Garvey as the Behrend wrestling program made great strides in the past year. A season ago, the Lions finished in last place in 2023, the AMCC's first season sponsoring the sport of wrestling. This season, Behrend had a strong showing at both the AMCC regular season quad meet and the AMCC championship. The Lions finished in second place at the quad meet with a 2-1 record, while coming in third place at the AMCC Championship, with two wrestlers being crowned individual champions and named to the all-conference first team, along with two regionally-ranked wrestlers on the season.
