OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Wells M Lydia Thomas had another strong week for an Express team that picked up victories over Hilbert and Mount Aloysius en-route to securing a 6-0 conference record and the 2024 AMCC Regular Season Title. During the three-game week, Thomas kept up her streak of offensive dominance, scoring nine goals and recording five assists while also nabbing 13 ground balls to pair with five draw controls. In the two title-clinching performances vs the Hawks and Mounties, Thomas found the cage for seven scores and five assists to go along with some excellent marks in the field as she tallied eight ground balls and three draw controls. Thomas and the Express locked up the #1 seed in the AMCC tournament.

 

BEST OF THE REST: Mount Aloysius A Katie Figinski led the Mounties with five goals for the week, as they went 1-1, as she scored twice while grabbing six draw controls in the victory over La Roche, then accounted for half of her team's six goals, all three coming on free-position-shots, on Saturday against Wells...La Roche A Jasey Reiser had another solid all-around week for the Redhawks as she scored a goal and added an assist, while also collecting two ground balls, one draw control and forcing four turnovers in Wednesday's close 8-6 defeat to Mt. Aloysius. She followed that performance on Saturday in a 13-4 win against Hilbert with a three goal, one assist performance, scooping up two more ground balls, five draw controls and caused four more turnovers.
