BOWLER OF THE WEEK: Saint Vincent SR Mercedes Belch led the Bearcats in a Baker dual match against Pitt-Greensburg, averaging 20.93, a game equivalent of 209.3. That total included strikes on her final two shots of the day, which were not counted in her final totals as an incomplete frame. She threw strikes on 62.5% of her shots, and converted all but one spare on the afternoon.

 

BEST OF THE REST: PS-Behrend SR Natalie Denny helped the Lions to a 2-1 day over Pitt-Bradford this past weekend, averaging 173.33 over three traditional games. Denny rolled a 200 in game two, the highest pinfall on either side during a single game...Pitt-Bradford SO Brookelyn Garvey led the way for the Panthers in their first action of the new year as she posted a 187 average as the Panthers went 1-2 against Penn State Behrend. She started the day with a 172, had the high pinfall of 190 for the Panthers in their lone win and closed the day with a 199...Pitt-Greensburg FR Kayla Gaughan averaged a 148 in a dual match against Saint Vincent, recording a single-game high of 173, as the Bobcats went 1-2 in traditional play.
