ALVERNIA TAKES OVER FIRST PLACE AFTER DAY TWO OF ROUND ROBIN

With another undefeated day under their belts, Alvernia University took over sole possession of first place in the AMCC Round Robin on Saturday in Jersey City, NJ. Saint Vincent College is in second place with a 6-1 record, while William Smith College rounds out the top three after going 5-1. 

After going 2-0 on Friday afternoon, the Golden Wolves went 5-0 on Saturday to hang onto the flawless 7-0 record heading into the final day of competition. Alvernia started the day off with an 847-782 victory over Hilbert College before edging Saint Vincent College 842-829 for their closest match of the day. They then earned a 876-817 win over New Jersey City University, before cruising to an 850-695 victory over Penn State Altoona. The Golden Wolves once again won easily in their final match of the day with a 927-663 win over Mount Aloysius College to give them the 7-0 record after two days of competition.

Saint Vincent freshman Skyy Nicholls leads the conference after day two with a 192.00 average. Alvernia's Reagan Smith is second with a 182.57, while the Golden Wolves' Mia Siminitus is third with a 181.00.
