MEDAILLE REMAINS UNDEFEATED AFTER CONCLUSION OF ROUND ROBIN #1

The Medaille College women's bowling team continued their undefeated streak in day two of the first Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Round Robin. The Mavs won all three of their matches on the day to finish with a perfect 8-0 record and a weekend-high 7,268 total pinfall.

With an overall record of 6-2, Saint Vincent College finished in second place. Rounding out the top three from the weekend was Penn State Behrend with a 5-3 record. The Lions defeated Pitt-Greensburg (5-3) head-to-head to win the tiebreaker. 

Medaille took down Saint Vincent College in the first match of the day winning 900-853 in total pinfall. In the second match, the Mavs put up their highest total pinfall of the day beating La Roche University 943-813. Medaille took down Mount Aloysius College in the third match, 938-723.
 
Junior Sarah Radt led the Mavs in both total pinfall and Baker frame average with a 591 and 20.37 average. Brianna Thurston finished second for Medaille with a 571 good for a 19.96 average. Taylor Strickland finished strong on day two with an 18.41 average and 534 pins knocked down

After Saint Vincent started out on Sunday with the loss to Medaille, they came back to with their next three matches on the day. In their second match, the Bearcats avenged a pair of losses earlier in the season to Pitt-Greensburg, defeating UPG by a score of 1,015-668. They went on to defeat Mount Aloysius 936-849 before wrapping up the day with a 846-798 victory over La Roche. 

Bearcat freshman Sabine Strickland led the way on day two, with a per-frame average of 21.33, a game equivalent of 213.3. Strickland didn't miss a pin during the day, with all strikes and spares. Olivia Emmonds was second for the day for Saint Vincent at 19.37, followed by Jackie Koehler (19.16).
