PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Hiram OH Tom Supan helped guide the Terriers to a two-win Saturday over Baldwin Wallace. The senior posted a double-double in match #1 with 15 kills and 11 digs as Hiram picked up a 3-1 win over the Yellow Jackets. In game two, the Medina, Ohio native picked up nine kills and eight digs in a straight-set victory over Eastern Mennonite. For the week, Supan averaged 3.43 kills, 2.72 digs, 0.71 service aces, and 0.43 blocks, while swinging at .357 clip. Hiram is now 4-3 on the year, and a perfect 4-0 inside Price Gymnasium.

 

BEST OF THE REST: PS-Behrend MH Cody Schnur did not have an attack error in four matches, registering a .667 hit percentage and averaging 2.92 kills per set for the Lions, while also adding 14 blocks, four digs and four service aces in the week. He led with 15 kills on 26 attempts with six blocks in a five-set win over Thiel...PS-Altoona S Connor Baker had a steady week directing the Penn State Altoona offense, recording 61 assists (6.78 assists per set), 18 digs (2.00 digs per set), 8.5 points (0.9 points per set), four kills (0.44 kills per set), three aces (0.33 aces per set), and two total blocks (0.22 blocks per set)...Thiel OH Zac Smith recorded 44 kills in four matches (15 sets) last week for the Tomcats (2.93 k/s), as he also tallied 27 digs, seven aces, three assists and two blocks on the week, while his 21 kills in a five-set non-conference loss to PSU Behrend on Tuesday were a career-high...Medaille MB Tyler Hassell had a total of five kills against Daemen College, averaging 1.67 kills per set, earning him a .182 hitting percentage while also tallying one dig in the matchup as well.
