
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: PS-Altoona OPP Caleb Fries had another strong week to propel the Lions to a pair of non-conference wins. In Wednesday night's road win at Wilson, he finished with 17.5 points on 10 kills, six service aces, one solo block, and one block assist. On Sunday, in a non-conference win at Mount Aloysius, he totaled 18 points on 15 kills, four block assists, and one ace. On the week, Fries had 35.5 points (4.4 points per set), 25 kills (3.13 kills per set), seven aces (0.88 aces per set), and six total blocks (0.75 blocks per set), with an attack percentage of .242.
BEST OF THE REST: Hilbert OH Brad Converse led the Hawks' offense this week with 37 kills, hitting .280, two assists, five aces, passing .973 on 73 total receptions, a block and 24 total digs. He recorded his 1,000th career point March 1st and currently has 1010.5...Buffalo State MB Kaden Strong had another strong showing for the Bengals with six kills, four digs, five total blocks, and a .556 hitting percentage. In the effort against #19 Baldwin Wallace, Strong had a .643 attack percentage with nine kills and three total blocks.
