PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Geneva MB Quinn McCracken was named to the all-tournament team for his performance at the National Christian College Athletic Association Invitational in Chicago, Illinois over the weekend. For the week, he averaged 3.00 kills per set on a .370 hitting percentage, totaling 51 kills in the five matches. He added 14 blocks (0.82 b/s) to go with 24 digs (1.41 d/s) and five aces (0.29 sa/s).

 

BEST OF THE REST: Thiel OH Mitch Patterson recorded 49 kills in 11 sets (4.45 k/s) during play in the Off the Block Grow the Game Challenge, hosted by Trine University, on Friday and Saturday, as he recorded a .330 attack percentage (49 kills, 18 errors, 94 total attempts) over the weekend, while also contributing 15 digs...PS-Altoona S/OH Ben Beaver had an all-around strong week for the Lions in the team's AMCC opener and two matches against strong non-conference opponents, as he accumulated 36.5 points for an average of 2.8 points per set, while also posting totals of 39 assists (3.00 assists per set), 26 kills (2.00 kills per set), 22 digs (1.69 digs per set), nine total blocks (0.69 blocks per set), and three aces (0.23 aces per set), finishing with a .267 attack percentage...PS-Behrend OH Dillon Hildebrand averaged 2.82 kills per set and hit .422 for three matches to help the Lions go 2-1 in the opening weekend, as he recorded double-digit kills in two matches, leading the team with 12 and 11 against Elizabethtown and St. Vincent, respectively, while also tallying 18 digs and three aces...Hiram OH Tom Supan earned all-tournament team honors at the Juniata College Invitational as he tallied a career-high 22 kills against Penn St. Altoona...Medaille OH Chris Pauline had himself a career week for the Mavs, as he set a new career best for kills twice this week, recording 15 kills and 17 points while playing in all three sets against Sage, then setting his second career best of the week against Sage with 18 kills, while also adding five digs, and finishing the match with 22 points.
