PLAYER OF THE WEEK: D'Youville OH Pat Stroh had a dominant week for the Spartans as they went 2-2. Stroh had a total of 55 kills last week, including a season-high 24 against Sage on Saturday. He recorded his first double-double of the season with 12 kills and 11 digs in a 3-0 victory over Southern Vermont. He totaled 23 digs and nine service aces throughout the week, adding four total blocks. Stroh leads the team with 63 kills (fourth in AMCC) and 3.32 kills per set (third in the AMCC). He is second on the team in hitting percentage, digs per set and digs. He is also second on the team in service aces per set at 0.58, which is second in the AMCC and he is tied for fourth with 11 service aces.

 

BEST OF THE REST: Medaille S Matt Dempsey had an incredible week setting the ball for the Mavs, helping them defeat Behrend 3-1, Dempsey dished out 53 assists putting the Maverick hitters in perfect positions all night, while also adding a team high nine digs and three kills to get Medaille back to its winning ways...PS-Altoona MH Dan Downs had a strong weekend to help the Lions go 1-1 in the Elmira College Invitational on Saturday afternoon, as he had 16 kills (2.29 kills per set), a .520 hitting percentage, six digs (0.86 digs per set), four total blocks (0.57 blocks per set), and totaled 18.5 points (2.6 points per set)...PS-Behrend MH Trenton Munk posted 21 kills and 12 blocks in three matches for the Lions, as he led Behrend with 11 kills against No. 2 New Paltz St., and he also tallied six blocks against NYU.
