PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Medaille RS Calvin Crosby had a very good week for the Mavericks once again, as Medaille faced their toughest part of the 2017 season. At last weekend's Golden Flyer Invitational the Mavericks played four matches against four top-15 nationally ranked opponents. In those four matches Crosby was able to collect 54 kills and five service aces. His 4.15 kills per set earned him a spot on the All-Tournament Team, while also adding 14 digs. Crosby had double-digit kills in all four matches, including 21 against No. 15 Rivier College.

BEST OF THE REST: PS-Altoona OH Brandon Arentz had a strong three matches for the Lions in their first NEAC crossover weekend of the season, as he averaged 2.08 kills per set while swinging at a .222 clip, and also averaging 2.08 digs per set, 0.50 blocks per set, and 0.25 aces per set.
