HIRAM'S BRITTANY DYE PROMOTED TO DIRECTOR OF VOLLEYBALL OPERATIONS

Hiram College Athletic Director Todd W. Hibbs announced on Monday that Head Women's Volleyball Coach Brittany Dye has been promoted to Director of Volleyball Operations and will serve as the interim head men's volleyball coach for the 2020 season.

A 2010 graduate of Hiram College, Dye rejoined the Terriers in 2018 as an assistant coach with the men's and women's volleyball programs before being promoted to head women's volleyball coach for the 2019 season.

Over the past two seasons with the women's volleyball program, Dye coached the Terriers to a 40-18 (10-6 NCAC) record, two NCAC Tournament appearances and a runner-up finish in 2018.

Prior to rejoining the Terriers, Dye spent eight seasons as the head women's volleyball and basketball coach at Crestwood High School in Mantua, Ohio, leading the Red Devils to three conference titles, a district championship and a regional final runner-up.

At Hiram, Dye played four seasons of both women's volleyball and women's basketball for the Terriers from 2006-10. A two-time women's volleyball captain, Dye helped the Terriers to a 2006 NCAC Tournament Championship as well as NCAA Tournament appearances in 2006 and 2007. Dye was also named to the All-NCAC Tournament Team in 2009.

Dye earned her bachelor's degree in education from Hiram College in 2010.

Dye will be joined on the bench by Holly Hoffman, who will serve as an assistant men's volleyball coach, in addition to her role with the women's volleyball team, for the 2020 season.
