Penn State Behrend senior MH Trenton Munk and Medaille College senior RS Calvin Crosby have been named 2017 AMCC Men's Volleyball Co-Players of the Year.

Munk, an AMCC first team all-conference selection for three straight years, ranks first in the AMCC in hitting percentage (.398) and blocks per set (1.20), and is fifth in kills per set (277). Munk is second nationally in blocks per set and in the top 15 in the nation in hitting percentage. He is the career kills and blocks leader at Penn State Behrend, and against eight nationally ranked opponents this season, he hit .310 with 2.5 kills per set. Against AMCC opponents, Munk hit .360 with 2.88 kills per set and 1.19 blocks per set.

Crosby capped a great career with another standout season. He lead the Mavericks with 282 kills and 3.66 kills per set. His kills per set numbers were third best in the AMCC and ranked him 16th in the nation. He also finished second in the conference with 41 service aces, despite missing a few weeks in the middle of the season with a knee injury. His .53 service aces per set ranked him 18th in the country and earned him 4.55 points per set which was best in the AMCC and sixth in the nation. Defensively, he chipped in with 69 digs and 46 total blocks, including eight solo blocks. 

Penn State Altoona freshman OH Brandon Arentz has been tabbed as the Newcomer of the Year. In just his first season of play, Arentz proved himself to be one of the most well-rounded players in the AMCC. His defense was solid, as he ranks second in the AMCC in digs (215) and third in digs per set (2.09). He has also had a strong presence at the net, ranking second in solo blocks (24), fourth in total blocks (59), ninth in blocks per set (0.57), and 11th in block assists (35). He also found success on the offensive end, ranking eighth in kills per set (2.05), ninth in kills (211), points (264.5), and points per set (2.6), and 14th in hitting percentage (.173). He ranks in several NCAA Division III statistical categories, including being 64th overall in digs per set. 

Penn State Altoona head coach Phil Peterman is this year's AMCC Coach of the Year. Peterman led the Lions to a spotless 8-0 record against AMCC opponents and their first-ever AMCC championship. This season, in just its fifth year as a varsity sport at the campus, the Lions have set a program record for overall wins (26) and earned their first berth into the NCAA Tournament.
