Penn State Altoona sophomore outside hitter Matt Huey has been named the ECAC South Region Player of the Week for the week ending February 28. Huey is also the current AMCC men's volleyball Player of the Week.

Huey put up big numbers against a pair of strong non-conference opponents on Saturday. Against Marymount, he had 17 kills, seven digs, and one block assist. Versus Eastern Mennonite, he put up 13 kills, seven digs, one solo block, and four block assists. On the week, the sophomore finished with 30 kills (5.00 kills per set), 14 digs (2.33 digs per set), and six total blocks (1.00 block per set).
