RIGGSBY TAKES TOP HONORS FOR MEN'S VOLLEYBALL

Medaille senior setter David Riggsby has been tabbed as the 2015 AMCC Men's Volleyball Player of the Year. Riggsby was also named the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Player of the Year and was a two-time AMCC and NEAC Player of the Week this season, leading his team to regular season championships in both conferences. Riggsby led the AMCC with 1,034 assists and 9.32 assists per set. He also led the AMCC with 42 service aces and ranked eighth in the conference with 179 digs. Riggsby is currently ranked 18th in the country with 9.32 assists per set and is ranked second in Medaille history with 2,897 career assists.

Newcomer of the Year honors goes to D'Youville freshman outside hitter Brock Tetreault. In his first year, Tetreault led the team with 291 kills, 2.83 kills per set and a .211 hitting percentage. He was also second on the team with 210 digs and 2.04 digs per set. The freshman finished the season ranked third in the NEAC in kills. On March 17, Tetreault recorded a career high 18 kills, and then matched his career high on March 28 against Keuka. The rookie was also the recipient of AMCC and NEAC Player of the Week honors during his freshman campaign.

Medaille's Keith Koch and Penn St. Behrend's Phil Pisano have been named 2015 Co-Coaches of the Year. Koch, who guided the Mavericks to their fourth straight AMCC title, as well as the NEAC title, takes away top coaching honors for the third year in a row. This year he shares those honors with Pisano, who led the Lions to a 6-2 record against AMCC opponents and a second place finish in the league.
