PLAYER OF THE WEEK: PS-Altoona JR Andrew Ferguson shot 77 in day one and 68 in day two to compile a combined score of 145 and tie for sixth place individually out of 58 golfers at the Gatorade Collegiate hosted by Wooster at Zoar Village Golf Course. His score of 68 on day two set a new Penn State Altoona record for the lowest score in a round in program history. Additionally, his performance helped the Lions achieve their lowest team score in a round in program history, as Penn State Altoona shot a program-best 289 on Sunday.

 

BEST OF THE REST: Pitt-Greensburg FR Spencer Beran was one above par, at 71, in his first collegiate match to claim the top spot out of 51 golfers at Saturday's Pitt-Bradford Fall Invitational...PS-Behrend FR Phil Pedano placed fourth overall and was the second-best AMCC golfer at the Pitt-Bradford Invitational on Saturday, as he carded a team-low 75 in his first collegiate match to help the Lions place third overall...Hilbert SO Michael Petrus fired a 77 to tie his career low to open up the season at the Pitt-Bradford Invitational on Saturday to finish tied for seventh amongst the field of 51 golfers...Medaille FR Ben Tubbs competed in the first match of his college career this weekend at Pitt-Bradford, finishing with an 80 and tying for 20th place.
