PLAYER OF THE WEEK: PS-Behrend F PJ Gourley registered a double-double in wins against Alfred State and Mt. Aloysius. Gourley finished the week an even 50.0 percent from the field, tallying 42 total points for an average of 21.0 per contest. The senior forward was also perfect from the free-throw line, going 17-for-17. He also finished the week with 23 total boards for an average of 11.5 per game. Gourley's stat line for the week included 21.0 points, 11.5 rebounds, and 2.5 steals per game as the Behrend Lions remain the only undefeated team in conference play on the men's side this season. 

 

BEST OF THE REST: Medaille G Jaqwan Washington was a key factor in the Mavericks' two wins this week, with a total of 31 points shooting 11-for-19, earning him a 57.9 field goal percentage, as he hit a last second three against Penn State Altoona to pull out the win...Hilbert F Eddie Perez led the Hawks to an 80-72 win over Pitt-Greensburg with 21 points, eight rebounds, three assists, and three steals, while shooting 8-for-11 from the field and a perfect 5-for-5 from the free throw line...PS-Altoona G/F Casey Parkins had an impressive week shooting the basketball while being involved at both ends of the floor for the Lions in their 1-1 week of AMCC play, as he averaged 18.0 points per game while going 14-for-22 (63.6 percent) from the floor overall, 4-for-9 from three-point range, and 4-for-4 at the charity stripe, and he also averaged 5.5 rebounds per game, 2.0 assists per game, a 2.0 assist-to-turnover ratio, and 1.5 steals per game...Pitt-Greensburg G Matt Johnson had his best week of the season, averaging 16 points per game and shooting close to 43 percent from the floor, while he was also was able to knock down 36.4 percent of his three pointers, and shoot over 66 percent in the Bobcats game against Hilbert where he tallied 19 points.
