PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Alfred State G Paris Jamison averaged 31.5 points per game and shot 79.4 percent from the field. He started the week with a 25 point game against Penn St Altoona where he went 10-for-15 from the field. He also added four assists and three steals. Jamison followed that with a 38 point game against Mt. Aloysius, going 17-for-19 from the field, shooting 89.5%, while adding six rebounds and a block. With his 38 point game, Jamison hit his 1,000th career point to becoming Alfred State's first 1,000 point scorer in their NCAA era.

 

BEST OF THE REST: Mount Aloysius G Will Hagwood averaged a team-high 25 points per game across two games last week for the Mounties, while adding 6.5 rebounds and three steals per game...Pitt-Bradford G/F Jamarion Butler averaged 21.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, 4.5 assists, and 3.0 steals per game last week as he led Pitt-Bradford to two AMCC victories, shooting 56.7% from the field over the two games and registering a double-double in the win over Behrend, finishing with 19 points and 11 rebounds...Pitt-Greensburg G Matthew Marinchak averaged 22 points per game with a high of 24 coming in a win over Hilbert, as he shot over 46 percent from behind the arc, making eight against the Hawks...PS-Behrend G Matthew McDonough averaged 21.0 points and 3.5 rebounds per game in two games last week, as he matched his season-high with 28 points in a win over Altoona, he then recorded a team-high 14 points against Pitt-Bradford...Carlow G Oscar Contreras averaged 18.5 points per game off the bench in two AMCC games last week, as he poured in 22 against Mount Aloysius and added 15 against Pitt-Bradford...Hilbert F Edward Perez continues to be the Hawks' most consistent statistical performer, as he nearly averaged a double-double last week pairing 16 points and 9.5 rebounds per game in Hilbert's two AMCC contests, as he poured in 21 points against La Roche and cleared 13 rebounds against Pitt-Greensburg...PS-Altoona G Justin Sheetz helped the Lions to a 1-1 week of AMCC play, as he scored 10 points to go along with five rebounds, four assists, three steals, and a block in a win over Alfred State, he then followed that up with 16 points, two rebounds, two steals, and a block in Saturday's road loss against Penn State Behrend...La Roche G/F Dominic Elliott was a key contributor in La Roche's 2-0 week, as he recorded 10 points on a perfect 5-for-5 shooting from the floor, to go with three rebounds and an assist in a win over Wells, he then followed that performance in Saturday's 82-75 win over Hilbert, leading all Redhawk starters with 18 points, shooting 9-for-12 from the field, while gathering six rebounds and an assist.
