PLAYER OF THE WEEK: PS-Altoona F Mason Bush led the Lions in scoring with a pair of 20-point efforts against strong non-conference opponents York (Pa.) and Oberlin. In the Lions' loss at York on Tuesday, December 20, the junior forward scored a season-high 29 points to go along with six rebounds, two steals, one assist, and one block. Bush helped the Lions to a victory at Oberlin on Friday, December 30, scoring a team-high 23 points while adding four rebounds and two assists. In that two-game span, Bush averaged 26.0 points, 5.0 rebounds per game, 1.5 assists per game, and 1.0 steal per game. He was impressive from the field, shooting 17-for-30 (56.7 percent) overall, including 10-for-16 (62.5 percent) from three-point range. 

BEST OF THE REST: PS-Behrend G RJ Marsh averaged a double-double with 13.0 points and 10.5 rebounds in a 1-1 week for the Lions, as he recorded his second double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds vs. Manchester, before scoring 14 in a 72-49 win over Alma, as he was selected to the Smokey Ballenger Classic All-Tournament Team...Hilbert F Nevada Eldridge led the Hawks over the weekend with 17 points in the loss against 10th ranked Case Western Reserve, he was efficient from the field, shooting 6-for-8 and 5-for-7 from the foul line.
