PLAYER OF THE WEEK: La Roche F Arnes Bajgora averaged a double-double with 21 points and 10.5 rebounds in two conference wins. He had 21 points and 12 rebounds in a 60-51 victory over Mount Aloysius on Wednesday. He then registered 21 points and nine rebounds on Saturday as the Redhawks beat Medaille 88-77 in the AMCC Game of the Week.

 

BEST OF THE REST: Franciscan C Matt Trent averaged a double-double for the week, including a 19-point, 17-rebound effort in the Barons narrow loss to Hilbert, while also adding three steals and three blocks in the two games...PS-Behrend G Mike Fischer posted career-high numbers in a 2-0 week for the Lions, scoring 19 points against the conference rival Medaille, and dishing out 11 assists in the win over Pitt-Greensburg, as he finished the week with 14.0 points per game and 8.5 assists...PS-Altoona G Ishmeal Nance continued to lead the way for the Lions in a 2-0 week of AMCC games last week, as he averaged 16.5 points, 9.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 1.5 steals per game, while also setting a new single season team record for free throws made, as he now owns the program record with 99 foul shots made this season...Pitt-Greensurg G Kyle Bondi posted double-figure scoring outputs in both of Pitt-Greensburg's games this past week, averaging 17.0 points and 6.5 rebounds on 61% shooting, including a 13 point, eight rebound, and two steal performance against Penn State Behrend...Medaille F Jonathan Smith averaged 13.5 points and eight rebounds per game last week, as the Mavs faced the top two teams in the conference, shooting 54.2 percent from the floor, including 7-for-9 at La Roche where he scored a team-best 15 points...Hilbert G Hunter Martineau led the Hawks to a 2-0 record this week by averaging 10 points, six rebounds, six assists, and four steals per game, while also recording a career-high seven steals in the overtime win over Alfred State...Mount Aloysius G Julian Stover averaged 20 points and seven rebounds in a 1-1 week, while also producing a double-double in the Mounties' come-from-behind victory over Pitt-Bradford...Pitt-Bradford G Christian Kelly-Perkins led the Panthers with 31 points Wednesday to power Pitt-Bradford to a thrilling 81-79 win over D'Youville at the KOA Arena, which included his 1,000th point of his collegiate career with a three-pointer halfway through the second half.
