LA ROCHE MEN'S BASKETBALL DROPS NCAA TOURNAMENT GAME TO STOCKTON

The La Roche University men's basketball team traveled to Stockton University to take on the Osprey in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. For the Redhawks, their season would end here. 

La Roche struggled to find their footing in front of a rough Osprey home crowd and took a bit to find their bearings. Desmond Ross from the reserves for the Redhawks had himself a day, earning 20 points, while also adding five rebounds and an assist. 

The Redhawks put up a tough fight, in fact outscoring the Osprey in the second half 41-39. Senior guard Devon Darrell led this charge, finding his footing in the second half. The senior in his final game netted 17 points and also collected four rebounds, four assists, and one block. 

Joe Starzysnki off of the bench shot 5-for-7 to be the final Redhawk to reach double digits. Staryzynski earned 12 points, four rebounds, and one steal.

La Roche fell to Stockton 86-70, completing the 2022-23 season.
