GREENING NAMED ROOKIE OF THE YEAR FOR ECAC SOUTH REGION

Penn State Altoona freshman forward Evan Greening continued his successful freshman campaign when he was named the ECAC South Region Rookie of the Year.

Greening played in 24 of 25 games for the Lions and averaged 31.4 minutes per game. He created new school single season records with 19.4 points per game, 255 total rebounds, 10.6 rebounds per game, and a 57.6 field goal percentage this season. Nationally, he was ranked second among Division III competition in offensive rebounds with 5.2 per contest. In the AMCC, he was second in points per game, rebounds per game, and field goal percentage.

Greening has also garnered recognition as the AMCC Newcomer of the Year and the d3hoops.com All-Great Lakes Region Rookie of the Year.
