PLAYER OF THE WEEK: PS-Behrend INF Silvio Ionadi finished the week 13-for-17 for a .765 batting average in six games last week. Ionadi recorded 11 RBI, three triples, three doubles, and 13 runs scored. The second-year infielder went 3-for-3 in three different contests and recorded a .727 average in four conference games (8-for-11).

 

BEST OF THE REST: Mount Aloysius INF John Griffith tallied a hit in every game while collecting multiple hits twice, driving in at least one run in three of the four games, as he went 4-for-6 and drove in three runs, scored three times, and hit his second home run of the year in a win over UPG, he then added to that in the Mounties' win against Wells, going 3-for-3 with a double and five RBIs; Griffin is currently on a 16-game hitting streak...Hilbert INF John Riviere Vejas had six hits in the Hawks' doubleheader against Penn State Behrend last week, including a four-hit performance in a game two win, he finished the day with a .667 batting average and 1.000 slugging percentage after belting a double and triple while logging five RBI and two runs scored...PS-Altoona 1B Jonathan Rauch combined to go 5-for-10 (.500) at the plate in home doubleheaders against AMCC opponents La Roche and Pitt-Bradford, as he recorded two home runs, four RBI, and two runs scored, while also going perfect in the field with 16 putouts and one assist in 17 chances...Wells INF Jacobi James continued to raise his average last week, batting .455 in three games and also recording a .500 average in two conference games, he showed both efficiency and power, launching a double and another home run, as he recorded two RBI and scored three runs during the week...Alfred State 1B Jack Curabba went 6-for-15 on the week for a batting average of .400, while tallying five RBI, with four of his six hits being extra base hits, including four doubles...Pitt-Bradford C/1B Noah Avey hit .500 and reached base at a .636 clip as Pitt-Bradford went 2-2 last week, he also scored once and drove in four runs, one in each of the Panthers' contests, he then had the game-winning hit in the 11th inning in the 4-3 win over Alfred State.
