PLAYER OF THE WEEK: PS-Behrend INF Mac Ciocco finished 10-for-16 in four games for a .625 average with five extra base hits, including four doubles and a triple. He also added five RBI, four runs scored and two stolen bases on the week. On Saturday at Westminster, he recorded two hits and a game-high three runs batted in. In a twinbill at Mount Aloysius, Ciocco went 6-for-9 with two doubles and two RBI.

 

BEST OF THE REST: Alfred State 1B Jack Curabba went 9-for-14 on the week for a .643 batting average with two triples and two doubles for three RBI. On the weekend alone, Curabba went 6-for-7 and tallied two triples and a double in the a sweep over Penn State Altoona...Hilbert 1B Patrick Whelan was outstanding again this past week belting two home runs, including a grand slam, to lead the Hawks to a sweep over Wells, as he reached based on 6-of-11 plate appearances and finished the day accounting accounting for 10 runs, including six RBI and four runs scored, finishing the week with a 1.670 OPS...Wells 1B Zach Young went 7-for-13 last week, including a 5-for-7 spurt against the Bobcats on Saturday, as he knocked in three RBI and scored three runs of his own while also logging three doubles and a triple...Mount Aloysius P/OF Tyler Quade earned a .500 batting average in eight plate appearance during Sunday's doubleheader against Behrend, earning three RBI while carrying a .556 on base percentage as the Mounties would go 1-1.
