PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Pitt-Greensburg INF Colin Solinski batted .412 for the week, including .500 in conference play with 11 RBI and two home runs. He scored six runs and had seven hits in five games. He recorded slugging percentage of .882 and struck out just once on the week.

 

BEST OF THE REST: Mount Aloysius P/OF Tyler Quade had a solid day in the Mounties' double-header sweep against Alfred State, as he went 2-for-3 with two doubles, while scoring a run, as the Mounties won game one 3-2, he then went 2-for-2, but reached base in all five plate appearances in game two, as one of his hits went for a double, and he drove in two runs, he slashed .800/.875/1.400 on the week, propelling himself to fourth in the AMCC batting race (.420)...Wells INF Jacobi James had another impressive week at the plate for the Express, as he slugged his way to a .583 average in four games played, knocking in seven RBI and scoring five runs of his own, good for 12 run contributions during the week...Pitt-Bradford UTIL Maxwell Rogers hit .417 in a tough week for the Panthers, a he was 5-for-12 with three runs scored and two RBI, as he led the offensive comeback attempt at Allegheny, finishing 3-for-5 with a run and two RBI, while also providing most of the offense for the Panthers in the 4-2 loss to LaRoche, going 2-for-4 while scoring both Panther runs...Hilbert 1B Patrick Whelan was outstanding this past week reaching base safely in 10-of-17 plate appearances, as he recorded seven hits, including two doubles, logging five RBI, scoring five runs and finishing the week with a .500 batting average, .588 on base percentage and 1.231 OPS while posting a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage...PS-Altoona OF Tyreke Green combined to go 4-for-10 at the plate with two runs scored, a walk, and a stolen base in a single game against Messiah on Monday and doubleheader against Waynesburg on Tuesday...Alfred State OF Tyler Korsky hit two homeruns in the second game against Mt. Aloysius while tallying three RBI.
