PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Pitt-Greensburg P/OF James Domer batted .563 with six out of nine of his hits going for extra bases for a 1.250 slugging percentage. He hit two home runs against Chatham in a Pitt-Greensburg comeback win, while also earning the win on the mound in that game. For the week, Domer scored nine runs while also recording eight RBI, three doubles, two home runs, a triple and one stolen base.

 

BEST OF THE REST: Pitt-Bradford UTIL Maxwell Rogers had a potent week for Pitt-Bradford as he hit .267 with three home runs, nine RBI, five runs scored and one stolen base as the Panthers went 2-2 on the week, including a grand slam in game two on Sunday, securing the 7-2 win over Waynesburg...PS-Behrend INF Mac Ciocco finished with an .857 average (6-for-7) with three doubles, five RBIs, and four runs scored in two Behrend victories at Franciscan, as he recorded his 100th career hit with a two-run double in game two...Mount Aloysius INF John Griffith had a solid week at the plate, as he went 3-for-5 while driving in a run and scoring a run in a win over Saint Vincent, he then went 3-for-3 and added a double in a loss to Gettysburg, for the week he went 6-for-8 with a double and accounted for 50% of the offense as he scored two of the team's six total runs, while driving in another...PS-Altoona INF Jimmy Mento had a big day at the plate to help the Lions win their home opener against Hobart last Tuesday, as he went 3-for-4 with his first two Lion home runs, four RBI, two runs scored, and one stolen base...La Roche INF Christian Melendez had a strong opening weekend in AMCC play, helping the Redhawks to a split in the series against Pitt-Greensburg, as he went 1-for-2 including a sacrifice fly and a two-run home run for a three RBI game and also scored a run in the game one victory, he then followed in game two with a 2-for-4 showing, scoring two more runs to give him three total.
