PLAYER OF THE WEEK: PS-Altoona INF Corey Chamberlain had a strong finish to his week over the Lions' final seven games in the RussMatt Central Florida Invitational. The junior posted four multi-hit games and finished the week with 17 total bases and five extra-base hits. In a total of seven games against Anna Maria, Calvin, Albion, Chatham, and Roger Williams, Chamberlain hit .526 (10-for-19) with nine walks, eight runs scored, six RBI, four doubles, and one home run. He had a .679 on-base percentage and slugged .895.

 

BEST OF THE REST: PS-Behrend INF Mac Ciocco finished Behrend's Spring break trip with a .458 batting average, going 11-for-24 with two doubles and eight RBIs in seven games, in victories against Elizabethtown and Northwestern (Minn.), he tallied three hits in both contests, while combining for three RBI...Mount Aloysius OF Joshua Brown had a solid week at the plate, going 3-for-9 over three games, and having all three hits going over the fence -- he drove in the Mounties' lone run with a solo shot in a loss to Shenandoah and followed that up by launching two homeruns in a 16-7 win against Colby-Sawyer that opened the team's spring trip in Myrtle Beach...Alfred State 3B Elijah Barinas went 7-for-15 for a .467 average, as he tallied a triple and a double, along with five RBI, while also leading the way on the base path with three stolen bases...Hilbert INF Jairo Santos hit .407 with a .515 on base percentage over the Hawks' seven games this week, as he tallied 11 hits, including three multi-hit games, and logging five RBI, scored six runs and five stolen bases...Pitt-Greensburg OF Zach Tyson batted .500 on the week with five hits, driving in three runs in two games that he started.
