PITCHER OF THE WEEK: Mount Aloysius JR Nick Lagnese had the best start of his career on the Mounties' trip to Myrtle Beach. He threw 6.0 innings and scattered three hits. He allowed only one run, which was unearned, for a 0.0 ERA on the week. In addition, he had six strikeouts and one walk allowed. Lagnese dropped his season ERA down to 3.00 with the performance.

  

BEST OF THE REST: Hilbert SO Brendan Walsh had a pair of stellar relief appearances, both resulting in wins for the Hawks, as he tossed three innings out of the pen at Geneva, allowing one earned run on two hits and struck out four to pickup his first win of the season, he then closed out the final three innings against Sage, allowing just one hit and striking out another four batters to pickup his first save of the season, as he finished the week with an impressive .143 batting average against and picked up eight strikeouts over six innings of work...PS-Altoona FR Eli Wiles recorded his second victory of the season in a strong start on the road at St. Vincent last Thursday afternoon, as he went four innings and allowed just one run on four hits and five walks, striking out six batters along the way...Medaille SR Zach Archibald was credited with one win and one loss in two starts and nine innings pitched last week, as he allowed 17 hits while getting seven strikeouts, averaging an 8.00 ERA on the week with seven strikeouts per nine innings...Pitt-Greensburg FR Colby Loptaic pitched six strong innings and gave up thee earned runs in a loss to Bethany, as he gave up seven hits and struck out three batters.
