PITCHER OF THE WEEK: La Roche SR Tre Thomas led the Redhawks to a 5-4 victory against Swarthmore College Sunday afternoon at Day One of the Snowbird baseball classic on Sunday (3/9). Thomas got the start and his first win of the season. He gave up just one earned run in 6.1 innings pitched, striking out six batters while only walking one. Thomas threw just 80 pitches, as 55 of them were strikes.

BEST OF THE REST: Hilbert JR Zachary Crane improved to 2-0 on the season after tossing a complete game 6-hitter with three strikeouts in the Hawks 3-1 win over Geneva College on Saturday...Mount Aloysius JR Dylan Coyle earned his second win of the year on Saturday at Stevenson, by throwing a complete game while allowing just one earned run on six hits, his efficiency was key as he finished the complete game on only 94 pitches...Franciscan SO Ryan Neely pitched a complete game shutout, helping Franciscan University to the program's first win, defeating Christendom 4-0, as he pitched all seven innings allowing only five hits while recording three strikeouts...Medaille SO Zach Archibald pitched all seven innings in the Mavs' first win of the 2020 season, only surrendering five hits and one earned run, while striking out five...Pitt-Greensburg FR Will Thorpe had a dazzling debut for the Bobcats in his first career start, tossing seven strong innings, allowing just two runs on five hits and striking out two to send the Bobcats to a 10-3 victory over Curry.
