PITCHER OF THE WEEK: PS-Behrend SR Jeff Zick picked up two wins in two starts for the Lions to begin the season, pitching 6.1 innings and only allowing one run on three hits and striking out seven. In the season-opener at Lancaster Bible, he tossed two innings with two strikeouts. On Sunday vs. Wilkes, Zick threw 4.1 scoreless innings, only giving up one hit and striking out five batters.

BEST OF THE REST: Pitt-Bradford JR Shawn Mannering had his second straight strong performance for the Panthers last week, picking up a win over Fredonia, as he pitched 5.2 innings, allowing four hits and two earned runs while striking out 10 batters for the second consecutive game...Mount Aloysius JR Chrise Hasse tossed a quality start to pick up the win against Mary Baldwin over the weekend, as he pitched 6.0 innings and allowed just two runs on seven hits while also striking out four batters, earning his first win of the season.
