BEST OF THE REST: Mount Aloysius C Doug Smith started 2020 off with a bang for the Mounties in their doubleheader sweep of Chatham, as he crushed two homeruns, half of his 2019 total, picking up three RBIs on the day, while also making a major difference defensively as the catcher, throwing out three of the four runners that attempted to steal...Pitt-Bradford INF Samuel Dreistadt has gotten his season off to a hot start, posting a .500 average through four games for the Panthers by going 2-for-4 in opening weekend games against nationally-ranked opponents Randolph Macon and Cortland and then 3-for-6 in a doubleheader at Bethany...La Roche INF Philip Pieto hit two solo homeruns in La Roche's season opener doubleheader against Oswego and Baldwin Wallace, he went 4-for-7 at the plate combined and produced a team-high three RBI.
