PITCHER OF THE WEEK: Alfred State FR Andrew Santobuono went 2-0 as he earned a victory over Pitt-Greensburg to help clinch the Pioneers spot in the AMCC tournament and then pitched the Pioneers to a game one victory in their AMCC first round series vs. Mt. Aloysius. In his 14 innings of work he had a 2.57 ERA, allowed 15 hits and two walks while striking out 18. 

 

BEST OF THE REST: PS-Altoona FR Austin Miller entered in relief during game two of this weekend's AMCC Tournament first round series against Pitt-Greensburg and pitched well, ultimately picking up the win. In four innings out of the bullpen, he scattered eight hits and walked just one while allowing no earned runs while also recording one strikeout...Mount Aloysius JR Mike McCourt played a big part in the exciting first round series with Alfred State. In the first game loss, McCourt picked up the loss while throwing all seven innings and allowing four earned runs. On just one day rest, McCourt came into the rubber match in the 9th inning with two runners on and one out. He quickly got a fly out and pop up to get out of the jam, and then put up two scoreless innings to allow his offense to score and win the game...La Roche SO Tristin Tinney threw a complete game shutout, allowing just two hits and striking out four to earn the win...Hilbert SO Zachary Crane tossed his fifth complete game of the season allowing just two earned runs and striking out five in the Hawks' 6-4 win over SUNY Cobleskill on Tuesday...Pitt-Bradford FR Alex Miles tossed six innings, surrendering three earned runs while striking out three to defeat Medaille and end the Panthers' season with a victory. Through his six innings of work, he walked just one batter.
