Medaille baseball player TJ Serba has been named to the 2015 Capital One/CoSIDA Academic All-District Team.

Serba has been a tremendous asset to Medaille College both on and off the field.  The firstbaseman returned from a season-ending injury in 2014 and finished the year batting .351 with an outstanding .507 on-base percentage as he led the team in both walks (21) and HBP (16) and is the career leader in the HBP category at Medaille College. His on-base percentage was second best in the AMCC at the conclusion of the regular season.  He also finished with 11 stolen bases which was tied for seventh in the AMCC overall and led all first basemen.

He currently has a career .349 batting average and 91 career hits.

He has a 3.88 cumulative GPA and has received numerous awards while at Medaille: Chi Alpha Sigma, AMCC Peak Performer, FAR Academic Award, and is a two year captain and academic captain for the baseball team.
