D'YOUVILLE WOMEN TAKE SECOND PLACE HONORS AT EXPERIENCE EVANGOLA RACE

Buffalo State College took home top honors this afternoon at the Experience Evangola Cross Country Race hosted by Hilbert College as they claimed the men's and women's team title along with top male and top female runner plaques.

Jaclyn Tedesco (Buffalo State) broke the tape with a 25:13 6K time.  Hilbert junior Megan Lee joined her as the only two women to finish under 26 minutes.  Lee took second place in 25:53.

D'Youville sophomore Kathryn Piraino finished in third place after crossing the finish line in 26:11 and freshman Rachel Luczak came in fifth with a time of 26:55. Sophomore Stephanie Lisiecki rounded out the top three Spartan finishers with an 11th place finish in 28:04.

Medaille freshman Samantha Burlow was the top finisher for the Mavs, earning an eighth place finish in 27:32, while Mavs senior Leah Van Son crossed the finish line in 28:33 for 13th place.
