The Franciscan University women's cross country team dominated the 2016 Franciscan Cross Country Invite and took first as five of the seven Lady Barons finished in the top-10. 

Freshman Grace Galligan continues her impressive rookie season with a first place finish a full two minutes ahead of the next runner. Galligan took first with a time of 20:22.52 in the 5k race.

Senior Emily Baznik was the second Lady Baron to cross the finish line at 23:57 and took third overall. Suzie Kass (24:06.55), Bernadette Williams(24:10.32), and Kara Shaughnessy (24:11.32) took fifth through seventh to round out the top-10 runners for the Lady Barons.

La Roche junior Andrea Luciano led the Redhawks led the Redhawks with a ninth place finish in 25:00.44.

Mount Aloysius sophomore Laken Lapso finished 12th overall after crossing the finish line in 26:42.75.
