Franciscan University freshman Bernadette Williams paced the Lady Barons at the Bethany Invitational, Saturday morning, leading the Barons to an 11th place finish, while La Roche College finished in 14th place.
Williams was the firs FUS runner to cross the finish line with a time of 27:04 and was the top AMCC runner of the meet. Sophomore Rose McGrath followed Williams as she crossed the line at 27:37 in 46th place.
Sophomore Lauren Schubliske and fresham Grace Galligan finished neck and neck with each other in 62nd and 63rd place with times of 29:21 and 29:22, respectively.
La Roche junior Andrea Luciano set the tempo for the Redhawks' with a 32:59 and a 74th place finish in the 6K race. Senior Morgan Churilla crossed the finish line sixteen ticks later in 78th place.
