RAMSEY TABBED WOMEN'S CROSS COUNTRY RUNNER OF THE YEAR

Penn St. Behrend junior Rachel Ramsey is the 2015 AMCC Women's Cross Country Runner of the Year. Ramsey, a five-time AMCC Runner of the Week, was the individual champion at the AMCC Championship race. She has posted the fastest 6K time in the AMCC this season and has not been beaten by an AMCC runner all year.

Franciscan University freshman Emily Theurer has been named the AMCC Newcomer of the Year. Theurer placed seventh overall at the AMCC Championship race. She was twice named ECAC Rookie of the Week and was the AMCC Runner of the Week once.

Penn St. Behrend head coach Greg Cooper is the 2015 AMCC Women's Cross Country Coach of the Year, as he led the Lions to their fifth team title.

2015 marks an impressive year for men's and women's cross country in the AMCC. In 19 years of conference championships, only 24 men and women have been four-time all-conference members. This season, four seniors have been added this impressive accolade to their resumes. Emily Quast(D'Youville), Devin Beggs (Behrend), Josh Natalie (Behrend), and Garrett Urban (Pitt Greensburg) have been named to the all-conference team all four years of their careers.
