FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: Carlow SR Christina Smith led the way for the Celtics with a first-place leap of 1.50 meters in high jump. Smith was also part of the 4x400 relay team that placed second with a time of 4:46.54 as Carlow kicked off the outdoor season placing fourth of five teams at the Bob Lewis Classic, hosted by Frostburg State University Friday.

BEST OF THE REST: Alfred State SR Laura Walter notched a fifth-place finish in the pole vault with a best jump of 2.75 meters. With that height she moved into fourth all time in Pioneers history...PS-Behrend SR Madison Kappeler tied for fourth in the pole vault with a height of 11-3 3/4, while crossing the finish line with a time of 26.98 for 18th in the 200m dash at the Dave Labor Invitational...Hilbert SO Tahlia Kosek was the first Hawk to compete in the long jump (4.1M) and 400M hurdles (1:24.99) at the UR Invite - setting two records and breaking her record from last year in the Javelin (25.71).
