SWIMMER OF THE WEEK: PS-Altoona FR Grace Dangelo posted two individual first place finishes and one relay first place finish in her team's split with AMCC opponents Pitt-Bradford and SUNY Delhi on Saturday, including setting a new team record in an individual swim. Dangelo posted a team record-breaking time of 2:13.89 in the 200 Yard IM to win that event, and she also took first in the 100 Yard Freestyle with a time of 56.56. She was later part of the squad that won the 400 Yard Freestyle Relay with a total time of 4:08.62.

 

BEST OF THE REST: Franciscan SO Colleen Farabaugh started the day off with a fifth place finish as the anchor of the 200 yard medley relay team with a time of 2:18.78. Next event she shattered her own school record in the 1000 yard freestyle to win with a time of 11:29.99. She then got second in the 200 yard IM with a time of 2:23.95. She followed that up with another second in the 100 yard backstroke with a time of 1:06.18. Then a second in the 100 yard IM with a time of 1:06.14. Last but not least ended the day with a second place finish in the 200 yard freestyle relay as the anchor of a 1:53.47. One first, four seconds and a fifth place finish, helped the team with 133 points on the day...PS-Behrend SO Barbie Cessar won two events for the Lions against Westminster on Saturday. She was first in the 200 breaststroke (2:38.17) and 200 IM (2:26.58).
