SWIMMER OF THE WEEK: PS-Altoona FR Grace Dangelo recorded each of the Lady Lions' three first place finishes in Saturday's tri-meet with Hood and Bryn Mawr, including setting her sixth new team record of the season. Dangelo won the first individual swim of the women's meet, the 400 Yard IM, by clocking in at 4:46.32. Several events later, she placed first in the 100 Yard Butterfly with a time of 1:00.66. Dangelo's new team record came in the 50 Yard Butterfly, in which she recorded a time of 27.46 to come in first place. Her time bested the previous Penn State Altoona women's swimming record of 28.19, set by former swimmer Ashley Nero on February 12, 2015. 

 

BEST OF THE REST: Alfred State FR Mikaela Snayczuk won the 100 fly in 1:05.08 and finished 2nd in the 100 breast (1:12.21), while also being part of the 2nd place 200 medley relay team (2:03.67) and the 2nd place 400 free relay team (4:08.81)...Franciscan SR Katie Cunningham brought home three first place finishes in the Lady Barons biggest win of the year, as she swam the second leg of the the first place 200 yard medley relay team with a time of 2:11.02; the best time by the Lady Barons all year in this event. She then won the 200 yard IM with a time of 2:36.41. She finished the day by winning the 100 yard breaststroke with a time of 1:18.29...SUNY Delhi FR Kaitlyn Quezada won the 50 yard freestyle at 26.81 and the 200 yard breaststroke at 2:48.96, while also winning the 200 yard freestyle relay at 1:51.66.
