
Penn State Behrend sophomore Camryn Watters has been tabbed the 2025 AMCC Swimmer of the Year. Watters was named the Swimmer of the Meet at the first SUNYAC-AMCC Championships. She broke eight individual records and seven relay records over the four-day championship meet. Watters set an AMCC Open record and got an NCAA “B” cut time in the 100 backstroke for first place. She also won the 50 free and 200 backstroke, while swimming on three winning relays.
Behrend freshman Kallie Smith has been named the Newcomer of the Year. Smith won two individual events and swam on two winning relays at the SUNYAC-AMCC Championships. She won the 200 IM and 200 free, while swimming on the record-breaking 200 free relay and the winning 400 medley relay. She also took second in the 100 free, 400 free relay and 800 free relay.
Alfred State College JR Shelby Nerber has earned Diver of the Year Honors. Nerber was the high point scorer at the AMCC Championships, recording a 278.75 on the 1-meter dive, and a 270.45 on the 3-meter dive.
Coach of the Year honors goes to Alfred State head coach Zach Healy. Healy led the Pioneers to a runner-up finish at the AMCC Championship last weekend.
