The AMCC Women's Soccer Game of the Week features two teams with just once conference loss a piece. Penn State Altoona, with a 5-1 conference record, will travel to Greensburg, PA to take on 4-1 Pitt-Greensburg in the key matchup of the week.

The Penn State Altoona women’s soccer team will look to keep its recent momentum going this Wednesday, October 20, when the Lions will travel to face AMCC opponent Pitt-Greensburg. Penn State Altoona has won seven of its past nine games, including five AMCC wins. Sophomore F/M Mallorie Smith, the reigning AMCC Offensive Player of the Week, is first in the conference in assists (7), fourth in points (23), and sixth in goals (8), while senior F/M Sadie McConnell is second in assists (6), eighth in points (18), and 10th in goals (6). Meanwhile, freshman GK Adeline Baustert has a team-high five wins, ranking fifth in the conference.

The Bobcats are coming into the matchup with Penn State-Altoona as the three seed in the AMCC, outscoring opponents 18-1 in conference play. Pitt-Greensburg is looking to finish the year strong and clinch a first-round bye in the AMCC Playoffs. Senior goalkeeper Lauren Yoder is coming off a two-shutout week in which she set the school record for most career shutouts and was named the AMCC Defensive Player of the Week. Tiffany Michalek is also coming in off a strong week, scoring two goals on 14 shots in two games.
