PENN ST. BEHREND ADVANCES TO NCAA WOMEN'S SOCCER NATIONAL TOURNAMENT

#3 seed Penn St. Behrend upset #1 seed Pitt Bradford for the 2014 AMCC Women's Soccer Championship and is headed to the NCAA National Tournament.

Pitt Bradford's Jamie Christenson opened up the scoring in the first half by finding the back of the net off of a corner kick.  The Lions evened the score when forward Allison Lonas also scored off a corner a little more than a minute later. The score remained tied 1-1 throughout the rest of regulation and forced the game into overtime. Behrend freshman Olivia Belack scored the game-winning goal in overtime to send the Lions to the national tournament for the fourth year in a row.

The Division III Women's Soccer selection show will take place on Monday at 1:00 p.m., with the first round games kicking off on November 15.
