DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Wells GK Lauren Spiegel had a strong defensive week for an Express team that defeated Hilbert and Mount Aloysius to finish AMCC play with a 6-0 record and become the 2024 AMCC Regular Season Champions. In the two conference matchups, Spiegel made 10 saves and posted a 58.8% save percentage while only allowing seven goals for a 3.68 goals allowed average. Spiegel's excellent control in front of the pipes allowed the Express to secure the AMCC Regular Season Crown. Spiegel and the Express will be the #1 seed in the upcoming AMCC Women's Lacrosse Tournament.

BEST OF THE REST: La Roche D Victoria Biagetti was exceptional for the Redhawks this past week, as she scooped up two ground balls and caused a career and game high six turnovers on Wednesday in a close 8-6 loss to Mt. Aloysius, she followed that performance in Saturday's 13-4 victory over Hilbert, once again having a career and game high seven ground balls that went alongside three more caused turnovers...Mount Aloysius M Sage Hoover picked up 12 ground balls and caused four turnovers for the week, helping the Mounties go 1-1. In the Mounties win against La Roche, she grabbed a team-high, eight ground balls and caused three turnovers, both leading the team.
