DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Mount Aloysius D Jordan Mason had a season-high 10 ground balls in the Mounties' win against Hilbert, as Mount Aloysius went 2-0 on the week. She also added five draw controls and five caused turnovers. Mason leads the team with 24 ground balls and is third with 12 caused turnovers. She ranks second in AMCC play in both categories.

 

BEST OF THE REST: Wells D Mariah Stephens led an Express defense that only allowed three goals in two AMCC wins over La Roche and Hilbert, as they outscored this week's opponents by a scoring margin of 46-3 in the two matches, as Stephens caused six turnovers to aid in the Express defense...Hilbert GK Katie Kociszewski came back into net this week after the Hawks' starting goalie got injured, as she stepped up in a big way, leading the defense and also recording a 61% save percentage on Saturday, while also having multiple cause turnover and ground balls in both games last week and leading the team to have the lowest goals-against this season with 13 against Mt Aloysius.
