The Medaille College Mavericks women's lacrosse team advanced to the NEAC Championship Game for the first time since 2013 this weekend, and with that success they have been chosen to compete in the ECAC Division III Women's Lacrosse Championship Tournament.
 
It is a seven team field with six teams in action this Wednesday. Medaille's first round matchup will take place Wednesday at 7:00 pm against Misericordia University out of the MAC Freedom conference. The Cougars went 11-8 this season, going 6-1 in conference play and advancing to the MAC Quarterfinals last weekend.
 
The game will take place at Misericordia with the winner to take on the winner of the Marywood/Arcadia matchup on Saturday at Stockton University.
