Medaille College senior Kaylie Bauer was named both the AMCC and the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Women's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week on Monday, and then followed that up by earning ECAC North Region honors on Wednesday.

Bauer helped the Mavs go 3-0 and win their second straight AMCC Championship. She led the way defensively for Medaille by scooping up 18 ground balls and causing 11 turnovers. In the AMCC clinching win over D'Youville she earned eight ground balls and forced six turnovers en route to a 23-7 victory. On the final day of the regular season, Bauer added four ground balls and four caused turnovers in a critical 14-13 conference win over Keuka College that gave the Mavericks the No. 2 seed in the NEAC Tournament.
