AMCC ANNOUNCES WOMEN'S BOWLING 25TH ANNIVERSARY TEAM

AMCC ANNOUNCES WOMEN'S BOWLING 25TH ANNIVERSARY TEAM

Throughout the 2021-22 academic year, the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) will be celebrating its 25th anniversary. As part of the celebration, the AMCC office will be releasing a 25th anniversary all-AMCC team for each of its 16 conference-sponsored sports.

Women's bowling is a relatively new sport in the AMCC, with 2014 being the first year the conference sponsored the sport. The AMCC is proud to be the first conference in NCAA Division III to sponsor women's bowling. Pitt-Bradford's Sarah Foley earned back-to-back Bowler of the Year honors in 2014 & 2015, the conferences first two years of sponsoring women's bowling. Mount Aloysius College's Rayissa Amon swept the honor the next three years (2016-2018).

As a team, Medaille College has won four of the seven AMCC bowling titles (no conference championship in 2020 due to COVID-19 pandemic), including the past four in a row. The Mavs earned the AMCC's first NCAA tournament victory last season in an upset thriller over top-ranked University of Nebraska.
