PLAYER OF THE WEEK: La Roche G Machia Hairston ended the season with another pair of quality performances, helping lead La Roche to a 2-0 mark and second consecutive perfect AMCC regular season. In Wednesday's 90-48 victory over Carlow, Hairston put together a stat line of 17 points, eight rebounds, five assists and three steals. She followed that outing in Saturday's 89-64 victory over Penn State Altoona with 19 points, 14 rebounds (10 offensive), five more assists, a steal and a block. For the week, she averaged 18 points, 11 rebounds, five assists and two steals.
 

BEST OF THE REST: PS-Altoona F Avana Sayles was the Lions' leading scorer in a 1-1 week of AMCC play, as she led her team with 20 points to go along with six rebounds, two steals, and two blocks in a victory over UPB, she followed that up with a game-high 23 points to go along with 11 rebounds for her seventh double-double of the season in a loss to La Roche...Mount Aloysius F Molly Kosmack averaged 18 points per game on 64% shooting in two conference games for the Mounties, she added nine rebounds a game, while averaging four blocks as the Mounties would go 1-1...Alfred State F Sarah Somers averaged 19.0 points and 8.0 rebounds per game, while shooting 59.1 percent from the floor to lead the Pioneers to a 1-1 week, as she opened the week with 18 points and eight rebounds against Behrend and then would follow that up with 20 points, eight rebounds, and three assists against Carlow...Pitt-Bradford G Alexa Ackerman averaged 14 points, 3.5 rebounds 2.0 assists, and 3.0 steals per game last week, as she led the Panthers to a playoff-clinching victory on the last day of the season, scoring 27 points while totaling two rebounds, two assists, six steals, and a block as the Panthers secured their first trip to the postseason in five years...Hilbert F Alesia Hamm was one short of another double double, as she scored 20 points, grabbed nine rebounds, dished out three assists and grabbed two steals in a loss to the Mounties on Saturday...Carlow G Elena Butler contributed solid minutes off the bench last week, averaging 10 points per game and scoring 18 in a loss to Alfred State on Saturday.
