PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Carlow G Sydney Carr led the Celtics to a 2-0 week in AMCC action with an average 17.5 points per game. She went 8-for-12 from beyond the arc and also averaged eight rebounds, three assists and three steals per game. In an 81-76 win over Penn State Altoona, she recorded 24 points, eight rebounds, five steals and three assists. She followed that up with 11 points, eight rebounds, three assists and a steal in a 70-64 win over Alfred State.

 

BEST OF THE REST: Mount Aloysius F Molly Kosmack had a double-double against #25 Johns Hopkins with 16 points and 15 rebounds, then followed that up with 17 points, on 7-for-10 shooting, while grabbing eight rebounds and blocking five shots in a win over Hilbert -- included in her five blocks was the 100th block of her career, becoming just the third Mountie in history to reach that mark...La Roche F Dasja Anderson had two strong games to help La Roche go 2-0 on the week, as she scored 16 points on 8-for-13 shooting, while also adding six rebounds, three assists and three steals in Wednesday's victory over Pitt-Greensburg, she followed that performance in Saturday's victory over Penn State Altoona with 17 points, nine rebounds, four assists, one steal and a block...PS-Behrend G Rachel Majewski shot 71.4 percent from the floor and scored a team-best 23 points to lead the Lions past Hilbert last Wednesday, she was a perfect 3-for-3 from three-point range and added three rebounds, and two assists...Alfred State G Taylor Benjamin had a great all-around week as she averaged 12.5 ppg and 14 rebounds per game, , including a 20 point, 14 rebound double-double against Carlow...Pitt-Bradford G Avery Benzel played all but two minutes in a pair of games for Pitt-Bradford this week, averaging 8.5 points, 7.0 rebounds and 3.5 steals per game, as she scored 10 in the loss at Alfred State and then grabbed 11 rebounds against Pitt-Greensburg.
