PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Alfred State F Jordyn Pettit had a big double-double as Alfred State opened up 2020 with a conference victory over Mt. Aloysius. She was 10-for-18 from the floor and led all scorers with 24 points. She also grabbed 19 rebounds, including 15 defensive boards, along with two steals, two blocks, and one assist in the contest. 

 

BEST OF THE REST: PS-Behrend G Caitlin Carnuche led the Lions past W&J with 21 points, including four three-pointers and going 3-for-4 from the foul line in the final minute to seal a 63-60 win, she followed that up by tallying 14 points in a 70-56 conference win over Franciscan on Saturday...La Roche F Jenna Cole led La Roche to their fifth straight victory Saturday afternoon in a close 61-57 battle with D'Youville, as she put up season-high's in both points (20) and rebounds (8)...Franciscan G Abby Baierl averaged 18 points and 7 rebounds per game this week, tying her career high of 28 points in a win against Geneva on Thursday, where she also recorded her third double double of the season by adding 11 rebounds...PS-Altoona G Sydney Snyder had a big game on Saturday to help PS-Altoona win its fifth game in a row, an 89-67 victory at Medaille where she scored a season-high 20 points, including six three-pointers to tie for the third-most three-pointers made in a single game in program history...Pitt-Greensburg G Colleen Murphy poured in a game-high 14 points, grabbed nine rebounds, dished out an assist, had one block, and one steal in Pitt-Greensburg's victory over Pitt-Bradford this past Saturday afternoon...Mount Aloysius G Emma Kitko earned her first career start against Alfred State on Saturday, finishing with career highs, with 18 points and seven rebounds, while also adding three 3-point field goals for the game...Medaille F Erin Hardick earned 24 total points last week with 15 coming from the game against Altoona, shooting 50% from three-point range throughout the week and helping the team with nine assists, four offensive rebounds, seven defensive rebounds, and three steals.
